The marble table T.180 is impressive and light at the same time. Despite the significant size, 180×180 cm, Vaselli succeeded in giving the marble table a fine and elegant aesthetic, thanks to some technical and design smart expedients. The legs seem detached from both ground and the top surface thanks to the creation of millimetric cutting details generating skillful shadow lines to hide the contact points. The outline of the top surface has been shaped and lightened as a minimum thickness is visible, thanks to a clever concealing of the supporting steel framework. The white Carrara marble, sanded and “patinated”, helps to give a more modern connotation to the workpiece and a warmer feel to the touch and sight.
